Pulled Two Ways toward a Worse Outcome

Two adults walk in opposite directions while a child hangs between them over a pit. In this version the pit is blank, allowing it to name the worse outcome created by two competing pulls.Label the sides as conflicting wants, the middle as yourself and the pit as the unwanted result. Treat the cartoon as a situational metaphor, not a universal claim about divorced families.
