Welcome to the KakaMeme Privacy Policy. This document explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use sticker generation, dynamic GIFs, submission assets, downloads, and Gallery features.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, and contact details you provide when registering or contacting us.
- Uploaded and Generated Content: Photos, text prompts, static stickers, dynamic GIFs, submission assets, download manifests, and public Gallery works.
- Job and Billing Data: Generation status, failure reasons, provider task ids, credit reservations, credit transactions, and payments.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our website, including pages visited and time spent.
- Device Information: Details about the device you use to access our services, such as IP address, browser type, and operating system.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our services
- To notify you about changes to our services
- To provide customer support
- To create, process, store, and display the stickers, dynamic GIFs, submission assets, and download packages you request
- To process credit deductions, failed-job releases, payments, refunds, and abuse prevention
- To diagnose generation failures, provider failures, storage failures, and misuse

- To monitor the usage of our services
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for auth, payments, email, analytics, image/video generation, background removal, background jobs, and object storage. To complete a generation request, uploaded images, prompts, and required job parameters may be sent to KIE, Fal, Inngest, Creem, Stripe, WeChat Pay, Alipay, R2/S3, or similar providers. We send only what is needed for the requested feature.
Public Content
Sticker sets are private by default. If you publish a set to Gallery or choose public visibility, its cover, previews, title, and description may be visible to other users. Do not upload or publish portraits, trademarks, copyrighted works, or sensitive information unless you have the rights to use them.
Removing an approved work from Gallery removes it from KakaMeme listings, categories, recommendations, and promotion. It does not make the work private: its stable detail page, public assets, search-engine results, and links held by other people may remain accessible. Project deletion or an administrative or legal takedown is a separate action. Copies already downloaded or cached by third parties cannot be recalled.
Data Retention
We retain account, job, asset, and payment records as needed to provide the service, audit credits, investigate failures, and meet legal obligations. Production storage can use R2/S3 lifecycle rules to remove expired temporary files and export packages.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
