I Love the Smell in the Morning

Kilgore in Apocalypse Now describes a battlefield smell with unnerving casual pleasure. The contrast between relaxed appreciation and a destructive setting gives the line its edge; adaptations often replace the smell with an everyday preference.Use for coffee, breakfast or the atmosphere after finishing a task. Place a short line in the upper-left haze and keep the seated figure and surrounding scene visible.
