Nerd Girl: Getting the Fandom Wrong
A girl with glasses holds up a palm marked NERD. The format often pairs a confident claim of fandom with a basic mix-up of characters or franchises, exposing the contradiction in the fictional speaker’s claim.Begin with an enthusiastic claim to know a franchise, then follow with an unmistakably misplaced character or title. Keep the glasses and NERD palm visible.
